What is CSS MPT? The MCQ-Based Preliminary Test (MPT) is a mandatory screening test conducted by FPSC. Unlike General Recruitment tests, the CSS MPT has no negative marking, consists of 200 MCQs to be completed in 200 minutes, and requires a 33% score (66 marks) to pass. FPSC recently replaced descriptive exams with a 100 MCQ test with negative marking for General Recruitment (GR), but the CSS MPT pattern remains completely unchanged.
