The Hiran Minar (Deer Tower) was built by Jahangir in memory of his favorite pet antelope (royal deer) named 'Mansraj'.

While Agra was the primary capital, Jahangir spent a significant amount of time in Lahore, effectively making it a major capital, especially during winters and for his Kashmir trips.

In the later years, Nur Jahan married her daughter (from her first husband) to Prince Shahryar and supported his claim to the throne, leading to a conflict with Prince Khurram (Shah Jahan).

Jahangir married Mehr-un-Nisa (Nur Jahan) in 1611. She became his twentieth and last wife, but undoubtedly the most beloved and influential.

While Shah Jahan built the Peacock Throne, Jahangir was famous for his immense curiosity and collection of rare animals, birds, and flora, which he often had painted by his artists.
