Option B
This is an interleaved series with two alternating strands: A (1), B (2), C (3), D (4) at odd indices; and C (3), D (4), E (5) at even indices. The 8th term is the next in the second strand: E + 1 = F.

This is an interleaved series with two alternating strands: A (1), B (2), C (3), D (4) at odd indices; and C (3), D (4), E (5) at even indices. The 8th term is the next in the second strand: E + 1 = F.
The first and third letters (J and F) remain constant, while the middle letter cycles through the standard English vowels: A, E, I, O, U. The next term is JUF.
The step differences increase: B (2) + 3 = E (5); E (5) + 4 = I (9); I (9) + 5 = N (14); N (14) + 6 = T (20). The next increment is +7: 20 + 7 = 27. Wrapping around the alphabet (27 - 26 = 1) gives A.
The subtraction increases by 1 each step: Z (26) - 2 = X (24); X (24) - 3 = U (21); U (21) - 4 = Q (17); Q (17) - 5 = L (12). The next step is 12 - 6 = 6, which corresponds to F.
The first letters move backward by 1: M, L, K, J, I. The second letters move forward by 1: N, O, P, Q, R. Combining these gives IR.
Within each triplet, letters increase by +2 and +3: A + 2 = C, C + 3 = F. The first letter of each triplet advances by 6: A (1) + 6 = G (7); G (7) + 6 = M (13); M (13) + 6 = S (19). Following the intra-group pattern: S + 2 = U, U + 3 = X. This yields SUX.
The pattern alternates between adding 4 and adding 5: A (1) + 4 = E (5); E (5) + 5 = J (10); J (10) + 4 = N (14); N (14) + 5 = S (19). Next is 19 + 4 = 23, which corresponds to W.
The sequence subtracts 3 positions at each step: Y (25), V (22), S (19), P (16), M (13). Next is 13 - 3 = 10, which corresponds to J.
The additions increase by 1 at each step: B (2) + 4 = F (6); F (6) + 5 = K (11); K (11) + 6 = Q (17); Q (17) + 7 = X (24). Next is +8: 24 + 8 = 32. Wrapping around (32 - 26 = 6) gives F.
The first letters advance by 3: C (3), F (6), I (9), L (12). The second letters advance by 3: A (1), D (4), G (7), J (10). The third letters advance by 3: T (20), W (23), Z (26), C (3, wrapped). Combining them produces LJC.
The pattern follows an increasing increment: A(+2)=C, C(+3)=F, F(+4)=J, J(+5)=O, O(+6)=U.
The series follows a reverse alphabetical pattern with a constant decrement of 2 positions.
The gaps between letters are increasing by even numbers: +2, +4, +6, +8. N+8 equals V.
The series alternates between adding 2 and 4: C(+2)=E, E(+4)=I, I(+2)=K, K(+4)=O, O(+2)=Q.
The first letter follows alphabetical order (A, B, C, D, E) and the second follows reverse order (Z, Y, X, W, V).
The series follows a consistent pattern of skipping one letter backwards in the alphabet.
The series alternates between sequential pairs (AB, BC, CD) and their reversed counterparts (BA, CB, DC).
This is an alternating series: the odd positions increase (M, N, O, P, Q) and the even positions decrease (N, L, K, J).
Each term in the series is determined by adding 3 to the position of the previous letter.
The first letter increases by 1 (A, B, C, D, E) and the second letter increases by 1 (I, J, K, L, M).
