Panahgahs (Shelter Homes) were established in major cities across Pakistan to provide dignity to the 'homeless' (basahara) population. These centers offered free overnight stays and two meals a day to laborers and travelers who otherwise would have slept on the streets, reflecting the government's 'Riyasat-e-Madina' welfare model.

In November 2021, a landmark joint session of Parliament passed the Elections (Second Amendment) Bill, 2021. This legislation authorized the use of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) in general elections and granted nearly 9 million Overseas Pakistanis the right to cast their votes digitally, fulfilling a long-standing promise of the PTI.

Following the success of the Roshan Digital Account (RDA), the government introduced value-added services like 'Roshan Apni Car,' which allowed NRPs to purchase cars for their families in Pakistan at lower financing rates, and 'Roshan Samaji Khidmat,' which facilitated easy charitable donations to reputable NGOs in the country.

Malik Amin Aslam was the architect of the government's 'Green Growth' strategy. Under his guidance, Pakistan launched the 'Protected Areas Initiative' in 2020, which involved increasing the number of national parks from 30 to 45 and creating a 'Green Wildlife Service' to preserve the country's biodiversity and promote eco-tourism.

The federal government established the Pakistan Islands Development Authority (PIDA) via an ordinance in 2020 to develop Bundal and Buddo islands into high-tech urban centers. However, the project faced severe opposition from the Sindh provincial government and environmentalists over provincial autonomy and the protection of mangrove forests, eventually stalling the initiative.

The Kissan Card was a transformational digital initiative for the agricultural sector launched in 2021. It provided farmers with direct subsidies on fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides, eliminating middlemen. The card also facilitated access to interest-free loans and crop insurance, aiming to modernize farming practices and increase crop yields in Punjab and KPK.

While the PTI had promised a separate province, as an interim administrative step, it established the South Punjab Secretariat in 2020 with offices in Multan and Bahawalpur. This allowed the region to have its own Additional Chief Secretary and Additional IG Police, ensuring that local administrative and development issues could be resolved without residents having to travel to Lahore.

A major diplomatic achievement for Imran Khan was the unanimous adoption of a resolution by the UN General Assembly in March 2022, designating March 15 as the 'International Day to Combat Islamophobia.' This followed Khan's persistent advocacy at various international forums, including his speeches at the UNGA, where he highlighted the rising global threat of religious discrimination against Muslims.

The Diamer-Bhasha Dam project saw significant progress during the PTI tenure. In May 2020, the government signed a 442-billion-rupee contract with a joint venture of Power China and FWO for its construction. The dam is vital for Pakistan’s water storage capacity and the generation of 4,500 MW of cheap hydroelectricity, significantly impacting the country's energy security.

Tania Aidrus, a former senior executive at Google, resigned from her position to lead the 'Digital Pakistan' initiative in December 2019. The project aimed to digitize government processes, improve internet connectivity, and foster a digital economy. Although she resigned in 2020 over citizenship controversies, the vision for digital transformation remained a core policy goal.
