Lord Hardinge II was the Viceroy when King George V visited India (Delhi Durbar) and announced the annulment of the Partition of Bengal in 1911.

C.R. Das was President-elect for the 1921 Ahmedabad session but was in prison at the time; Hakim Ajmal Khan presided as Acting President. (Though Tilak was arrested earlier, he was never INC President).
